So, if you want to be part of a forward-thinking, values driven business that is truly going places - then maybe this is the place for you?
Talk Tech to me
Our current tech and product organisation is over 150 strong across Product, UX, Engineering, DevOps and Data & Insights. We know we are good, but we are not perfect…Yet. On our journey, we take progress over perfection. A solution over a problem. Programme over Project. Being Agile over Doing Agile.
Our Engineering teams work on a cutting-edge tech stack built on Google Cloud (GCP). Some of the cool things we work on include the latest versions of .NET, C#, React Native, React, Typescript, JavaScript, Node, Salesforce, NoSQL, Test automation, Shift-Left methodology, Docker, TDD, BDD, Full CI/CD, event driven architecture, serverless technologies and much more!
Our tech stack provides a solid foundation for our growth. To make the wheels turn faster, we are also integrating AI Technology and removing remaining legacy tech.
As a team, we run sprints, hackathons, and stand-ups but we don’t run away from a challenge. We thrive under pressure, fail fast, own it, get excited about it, learn from it, and deliver on it.

Women in Tech
We spend a large chunk of our lives at work, so let’s enjoy it. Here at Checkatrade, we really care about our people and do a lot to make them feel happy.
We are committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion across our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination should it arise. We want to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people, regardless of their background, origin, or ethnicity.
Women in Tech is close to our heart. Our internal Women in Tech bubble was set up early 2023 to address the ongoing Checkatrade and industry wide drive to get more women and non-binaries into tech-based careers. Our women in tech make up 25% of our total Checkatrade workforce. Whilst this is higher than industry standard, it’s important we continue to drive a long-term Women in Tech programme that sets an upward trend for all levels of intake. Some of the roles carried out by our brilliant females are:
