Awards Process

Judges will read and pre-score all entries submitted via the online form. Judges will also consider any supporting material submitted.

Judges will be asked to give a score for each section within the entry form and an overall score will be calculated for each entry.

Entries with the highest scores will be entered for the shortlist.

The shortlist will be released for a public vote via the shecancode.io website.

After the public vote has closed, judges will meet for a working session to discuss the results of the public vote and the highest-scoring entries to narrow down the final winner for each category.

The final list will be published on shecancode.io and promoted via our social channels and community platform.

If you are shortlisted your details will be shared with your category sponsor. This sponsor may invite you for a post-awards follow-up lunch/celebration at their own building to share more details about their tech team and diversity efforts.
