By participating in SheCanCode’s Power Up Awards, nominees and nominators agree to abide by the below terms and conditions.

- Nominees must identify as women or non-binary.
- Nominees should be actively working in the field of technology.
- The Power Up Awards are open to individuals based in the UK and Northern Ireland
- Nominations are submitted through the official SheCanCode website during the specified nomination period.
- Nominators must provide accurate and complete information about the nominee.
- Self-nominations are accepted.
- Nominators must choose the most suitable category for their nominee.
- SheCanCode reserves the right to reassign a nomination to a different category if deemed more appropriate.
- Shortlist and winners are selected by a panel of judges appointed by SheCanCode.
- The decision of the judges is final and binding.
- SheCanCode reserves the right to use the names, images, and information of nominees and winners for promotional purposes.
- Personal information collected during the nomination process will be handled in accordance with SheCanCode’s privacy policy.
- All material received as part of the SheCanCode Power Up Awards 2023 will remain confidential to the judges and any other individuals involved.
- All judging conversations are confidential and will not be discussed or shared with anyone else outside of the judging panel.
- Judges will not share any confidential entries or further details they receive with anyone and such materials will be deleted after the judging period ends.
- Details included in entries may be used in post-event materials by SheCanCode to promote individuals and best practices, but permission will be sought from entrants before publishing.
- SheCanCode reserves the right to disqualify any nominee who violates the terms and conditions.
- SheCanCode reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time.
