Of course – we actively encourage men to nominate.

Entrants are welcome to submit entries for more than one category, but each entrant can only win in one category. Make sure to read the category criteria before submitting.

Currently, we are only accepting nominations for those working within the UK and Northern Ireland.

Keep your entry concise and to the point. Remember to provide as much evidence as possible to support your entry, such as quotes, figures, and statistics.

The judges’ decision is final, and no additional correspondence or discussion will be provided regarding the selection of shortlisted nominations or winners.

Judges or anyone on the Awards team will not provide any feedback to entrants as to why they have not won or were not shortlisted.

SheCanCode reserves the right to extend the closing deadline, amend categories, or not award categories if the standard of entries received does not meet the required standard.

Shortlisted entrants will be contacted by email at the address provided in the awards entry.

If you are shortlisted, your details will be shared with your category sponsor. The sponsor may invite you for a post-awards follow-up lunch/celebration at their own building to share more details about their tech team and diversity efforts.

During the submission process, you will be asked for a biography and headshot.

Should you be shortlisted, your full name, job title, company name, biography and headshot will all be published on the website.

If there is personal information, you would rather not share publicly, we ask you don’t include in your bio.

If you’ve made a mistake in your submission, please get in touch with the Awards Team at [email protected].
