At Outrider, we have an extensive interview process - and for good reason! We want to see if you’re a good fit for our team, and if we’re a good fit for your career pursuits. Here’s a glimpse at some of what you can expect while interviewing for one of our open positions:
Initial screening calls
Sit down for exploratory conversations with the recruitment and hiring managers. We’ll talk culture, team, and tech to see if we’re a good fit for each other.
Technical evaluation
Depending on the role, you may need to participate in a technical conversation or exercise, like a coding or design session.
Interviews
Chat with the team and other stakeholders that you’d be working with to share your relevant experience, better understand the position, and get an idea of life at Outrider.
Presentation
Give a 20-minute presentation about a project you’re proud of with the hiring manager, team members, and other stakeholders. Our team is very curious, so do save time for questions.
We believe Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are existential necessities. The biggest risk to success is a lack of variety in perspectives, which can only come from having a diverse workforce and creating a welcoming environment where folks feel comfortable and confident sharing their ideas.
We’ll be honest: Outrider still has a lot to when comes to DE&I. To account for this we’ve taken concrete steps towards increasing the representation of women and minorities, specifically in tech roles at the company.
