Velocity Global provides significant financial support to a non-profit named First Descents that provides life-changing outdoor adventures to young adults who are impacted by cancer and other serious, life-threatening illnesses/disabilities. This includes a $1M gift in 2021 and another $1M together with FT Partners in 2023.
Velocity Global sponsored 10 school places for teenage girls in Nairobi, Kenya in partnership with TeenSeed Africa. This grassroots organization champions and advances the rights of girls and women in the local community.
The company also matched all employee donations to charities/non-profits focused on the LGBTQ+ community (and any other charity/non-profit that employees donated to) during Pride Month/June 2022 up to $500.00 per employee.
