What drives us at Dunelm?
We’re here to help our customers feel the joy of truly being at home. And that starts with creating a workplace where our people feel the same way; valued, supported, and inspired.
What you can expect when you join us:
Learn
No matter your role, you’ll have the chance to grow your skills, stretch your thinking, and keep learning every step of the way.
Thrive
We’ll make sure you’ve got what you need to do your best work, so you can focus on making a real impact.
Belong
We celebrate individuality. Whoever you are, and wherever you’re from, you’ll be welcomed and respected for what you bring.
A shared sense of purpose
Every role at Dunelm contributes to something bigger: helping real people feel good in their homes. Whether it’s comfort, contentment or a little everyday joy, we’re here to make it happen, for our customers and for each other.
Our values guide how we work:
🛠️ Act like owners
📚 Keep listening and learning
🤝 Stronger together
🌱 Long-term thinking
At Dunelm, we offer the chance to be part of something bigger: to help real people experience the joy of feeling truly at home. Everyone here contributes to that purpose, as we strive to bring more contentment, more comfort, and more laugh-out-loud happiness to people’s lives, our customers, of course, but also our own.
Everyone who works with us brings something different to Dunelm. And to our minds, that’s something to celebrate rather than something to accommodate. Wherever you work with us and in whatever role, you’ll find everyone supports and cares for each other. And that you’ll feel seen and valued for the unique contribution you bring.
At the heart of everything that’s happening at Dunelm, you’ll find our fast-growing Technology teams. Their agility and innovation enable us to move fast as a business, and those little sprinkles of magic transform every customer’s shopping experience.
Communities that make a difference
At Dunelm, we’re proud to support spaces where colleagues can connect, share, and shape the future of how we work.
Our Women in Tech community brings together women and allies to collaborate, support one another, and build a culture where everyone can thrive.
And that’s just one part of it. Every colleague can be part of our four networks:
These networks aren’t just for conversation; they help guide real change. We work closely with members to launch initiatives, development programmes and shape policies that reflect lived experiences and make a meaningful impact.
Because when we listen, we learn. And when we learn, we grow, together.
Wellbeing that works for you
We’re here to help people feel truly at home, and that includes our colleagues. From everyday support to long-term growth, we’re committed to making Dunelm a place where you can do your best work and feel good doing it.
Giving back, together
We take our role in the community seriously. Every Dunelm store partners with a local charity and runs its own community Facebook page to stay connected. Our Pausa Cafés are open to local groups, free of charge, and we’re proud to support Age UK through national partnerships.
And because giving back matters, every colleague gets a paid day each year to support a cause close to their heart, whether that’s helping out at a local food bank, or helping develop a community green space.
-Our Interview process-change to Recruitment team (instead of People team),
Change to Hiring Manager Interview for 2nd stage.
3rd stage-change to “Tech Test or Case study task & meet the team”
Dunelm colleagues have the opportunity to join our Women in Tech community, where women and allies collaborate and build a supportive culture for all.
All of our colleagues have the opportunity to be part of our four colleague networks. These are Disability & Neurodiversity, LGBTQ+, Gender Equality and Ethnicity & Race.
We consult with our network members and colleagues across the business to launch impactful initiatives and policies. The networks help shape our decisions to make sure they are meaningful and shaped by colleagues with lived experience.
