Since making a career pivot into technology, Catriona Bennett has quickly established herself as a passionate and resilient engineer.
Having launched her tech career through Makers Academy Software Engineering bootcamp, she gained valuable experience as a Site Reliability Engineer at Dunelm before joining the team at Cloudscaler as an Associate Cloud Engineer. Catriona loves the logic and problem-solving inherent in cloud engineering, which can be anything from developing scalable, secure solutions to troubleshooting pipelines. She is incredibly proud to be recognised as a tech newcomer and looks forward to continuing to build impactful digital infrastructure. When she isn’t deep in terminal windows and cloud architecture, she disconnects from the screen by stepping onto the dance floor, where she participates in and teaches Scottish Country Dancing.
