ARTICLE SUMMARY

ChatGPT has become one of the most searched phrases on Google in the past couple of months, and though using ChatGPT by itself can help a lot with various tasks, using a plugin often leads to increased efficiency and accuracy. This article goes over 5 of those many plugins.

With the advancement of large AI language models, like chatGPT and Bard, people worldwide are looking for ways to utilize these tools to make our daily lives more productive and automate mundane tasks at work to improve their overall efficiency.

Though some may also use it for personal and entertainment purposes, the existence of these tools proves the extent to which humanity can harness technology. In the context of AI in the workplace: The benefits of ChatGPT, it shows how innovation can simplify tasks and enhance productivity.

After the initial release of ChatGPT, many developers and companies (including OpenAI) started developing plugins that users can utilize ChatGPT for specific tasks. Using these plugins usually leads to better results than using ChatGPT by itself. However, these plugins are only available for users of the paid plan.

In today’s article, we will go over 5 ChatGPT plugins that I find very useful, and I hope you will as well when you try them. Let’s get right to it.

NO.1: NOTEABLE

Let’s start with my favorite plugin (So far, at least), Noteable. The notable ChatGPT plugin boosts your coding experience by enabling you to create Python and SQL notebooks by passing prompts to ChatGPT. Suppose you are:

  • A coding beginner.
  • Working on a data analysis project.
  • Sharing your work with others.

If you need clarification on how to do things correctly or efficiently, well, worry no more, Noteable is here to help you! Noteable simplifies the process with its user-friendly and intuitive interface. For example, you can ask ChatGPT to create a notebook for data visualization or exploration. Within a minute, the notebook will be added to your Noteable account.

NO.2: PLAYLIST AI

One of the things that help me get into the work mindset is having some music that gets my energy flowing. Music is a big part of everyone’s life, of all ages, all over the world. Music helps us relax, be productive, sleep, or even deal with our emotions. So, could you create your own playlist based on your mood, even if you don’t know many songs or are up to listening to new music?

The Playlist AI plugin for ChatGPT creates personalized music journies to suit your musical needs. This plugin curates music playlists for unique tastes, moods, or specific activities. So, suppose you’re a student preparing for finals or just trying to learn a new skill or relax and sleep. In that case, all you have to do is go to ChatGPT and ask it to generate a chill playlist for studying a calm night at home or an upbeat playlist for a good workout.

NO.3: VIDEO INSIGHTS

I am sure that many people prefer to learn by watching a YouTube video on the topic. Also, if you’re like me, you wish there was a summary of the information in the video in a written format for you to check later. Well, ChatGPT has a plugin that does just that.

The video insights plugin allows you to paste the URL of any YouTube video within your prompt and request a short summary of the video. Not just that, you can also ask any questions about the content of the video, and the plugin will return the main points about that question. The only downside to this plugin is that it only supports short videos or videos under 10 mins. But, hopefully, that won’t be an issue in future releases of the plugin.

NO.4: WOLFRAM

Next up is a plugin for researchers and students, the Wolfram plugin. This plugin enhances ChatGPT capabilities by allowing it to access robust computation, accurate math, curated knowledge, real-time data, and visualization through Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language. It will enable the users to access a broad and deep coverage from various fields, such as chemistry, geography, astronomy, engineering, and more. Not only that but using this plugin also lets you execute algorithmic code within the ChatGPT interface.

NO.5: UPSKILLR

Last but definitely not least, we have an excellent plugin for those who always want to learn new things or are considering a career change but are still deciding what to learn or how to start their learning journey.

The Upskillr ChatGPT Plugin provides curated online courses, career advice, and personalized learning paths for various fields and disciplines. It’s a valuable resource that enables you to expand your knowledge on one topic, acquire new skills, and confidently navigate your learning or career journey.

Having a powerful tool like ChatGPT is a great resource when used correctly. Because such powerful tools can often be very diverse and versatile, using them efficiently or even knowing how to integrate them into your everyday work or personal life can be challenging.

Since the release of ChatGPT, people have used it in very different ways, not all of which are ethical, such as some students using it to solve their homework or write their essays for them. However, ChatGPT has been very useful in automating some mundane tasks and assisting people in learning new things simply and efficiently, increasing their productivity.

Because ChatGPT is a versatile tool, plugins can optimize it to a specific task, increasing its usefulness and accuracy. Today we went through 5 of so so many plugins for ChatGPT that you should give it a try the next time you use ChatGPT.
