I’m a Senior Software Engineer at Moonpig with a non-traditional route into tech.
Before retraining through the Northcoders bootcamp, I worked as a co-artistic director and theatre producer, where I developed strong skills in communication, collaboration, and storytelling — all of which continue to shape how I work as an engineer today.
Since joining Moonpig in 2019 as an Associate Software Engineer, I’ve progressed to Senior Engineer, specialising in frontend engineering, accessibility, design systems, and engineering quality. I’m passionate about creating inclusive, maintainable products and helping others grow in confidence and capability.
Alongside my technical work, I run Frontend Therapy Club, an inclusive learning space focused on frontend best practices, accessibility, and knowledge sharing. I’m particularly interested in creating supportive engineering cultures where people feel safe to learn, ask questions, and develop their skills. I also mentor women in tech, supporting them in building confidence, navigating career progression, and developing their technical and leadership skills. Looking ahead, I hope to continue growing into an Engineering Management role where I can combine technical leadership with mentoring and team development.
