International Women’s Day (IWD) mentorship cohort is an initiative that Wentors runs to celebrate and support women in technology across the world.
The program is designed to provide mentorship opportunities for women in technology who are looking to advance their careers, develop new skills, or simply connect with other women in the industry.
The program is open to women of all levels of experience and backgrounds, from students to established professionals. Participants are matched with experienced mentors in their field of interest, who provide guidance and support as they work towards their goals.
Mentees will have the opportunity to learn from the mentors’ experience and gain valuable insights, advice and feedback that will help them navigate their careers. They also get to network with other mentees and mentors, which is a great way to build a community of support and encouragement.
The mentorship cohort runs for a period of six weeks, during which time mentees and mentors will meet regularly, virtually, depending on the mentor’s availability and the mentee’s location.
The IWD mentorship cohort is a great opportunity for women in technology to take charge of their careers and gain the support and guidance they need to succeed. It is a way to empower women to take on leadership roles, break barriers and create a more diverse and inclusive tech industry.
Wentors is an organisation dedicated to increasing the participation and retention of women in technology through mentorship and upskilling programs.
