I am from Valencia, Spain — the youngest of three sisters.

I studied Computer Science in a class where only 6 of us out of 100 were women. That never stopped me; if anything, it taught me early that belonging is something you claim, not something you wait to be given.

I moved to the UK alone, driven by my mother’s belief that education is the foundation of independence. Since then, I have built my career across healthcare, big data, and financial services — always drawn to the same challenge: building systems that solve real problems in a resilient, performant, and distributed way. I am a DevOps believer at heart — automation, ownership, and continuous improvement are not just engineering principles to me, they are how I approach everything.

Today, I am a software engineering manager in financial services, leading the modernisation of legacy services into a cloud-native platform and building multi-agent AI solutions that democratise operational knowledge. Two years ago I was promoted to manager — not because I waited for permission, but because I kept building things that didn’t exist yet.

Outside work, I volunteer with Loughton Voluntary Care and dedicate my time to helping immigrant women in my network build financial literacy and confidence. When my mother passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2024, her dream became my mission: to ensure that no woman lacks the knowledge to make her own choices.
