For eight years, I built a successful career in Corporate Finance, but I constantly found myself fascinated by the ‘magic’ of the software we used daily.
I started looking up YouTube videos on how to code and building small projects on the side when I realised I wanted to be the one creating the solutions. So I decided to take a leap of faith, quit my job, and enrolled into a web development bootcamp. Then I came across the incredible Code First Girls community and secured a spot on their Software Engineering degree, sponsored by Starling Bank and Engine by Starling. Today, I am proud to be a Software Engineer Graduate at Engine by Starling, turning my curiosity into a fulfilling new career in tech.
