I’ve been a Software Engineer for 5+ years, having started out in Customer Service and transitioned from a QA Engineer through to a Junior Frontend Engineer.
As a teenager, I had assumed STEM subjects weren’t for me and preferred more “creative” subjects, but I’ve since learned that coding can be so creative and I love coming up with solutions to complex problems. I’m mostly a Frontend Engineer at heart, but I am dabbling in Backend a lot more these days to keep myself learning and growing as an Engineer.
