Simi Gandhi-Whitaker is a Strategic Workplace and Technology Director at facilities management company, Mitie.
She is responsible for the creation of new-to-market innovative solutions for her blue-chip customers by leading Mitie’s Connected Workspace technology business; managing the day-to-day delivery of the team, and their award-winning products.
A keen technologist, Simi is an expert in helping customers bridge the gap between their technology investment and business aspirations. Her extensive knowledge of the emerging technology market underpins her understanding of how the boardroom can implement a DEI recruitment strategy, focusing on AI & ML, big data, VR & AR, and IoT.
Simi is also big on creating change and using her voice for good. Her passion and affinity to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) has seen her become a visible champion and mentor in the property and FM sectors. As a current Non-Executive Director for mental health charity, The Advocacy People, and former business mentor for the Cherie Blair Foundation, Simi is on a mission to not only empower and inspire others, but also challenge the status quo to instigate real positive changes in the workplace today.
