You’re invited to join us for a day of ideation, coding and the creation of solutions that will make a make a real impact in women’s lives.
Coinciding with International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrations throughout March, SheCanCode will coordinate the free hackathon in London, providing you with the opportunity to build a solution to help improve women's safety.
We are proud to be working with Refuge to help give an insight into the problems that need to be overcome and help guide ideas.
Refuge is the largest single provider of specialist services to survivors of domestic, sexual and gender-based abuse and runs the freephone, 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline that provides the first step to women escaping abuse.
While SheCanCode is committed to keeping our events accessible and free, we kindly ask for a small donation to support Refuge. Your contribution helps us pay it forward and make a meaningful impact.
At the end of the day, attendees will present to a judging panel who will select a winning project.

Our Power Hack is open to all women, 18 and over, whatever stage in your career, or coding experience. Come along if you’re interested in creating solutions to help women's safety.
