Driven by a deeply rooted philosophy to leave people, and companies, better than she found them, Sam’s 12 year career in data has gone from strength to strength.
With a people-first, problem-solving approach, Sam is known for bringing out the best in her team and set up DataFit in 2022 to enable her to pursue her dream of a consultancy and training company. DataFit empowers SMEs to implement data management best practice into the day-to-day running of their business, highlighting the opportunities and value that good data can bring.
As a female founder, Sam actively works to support women in data and is a voluntary role model for social enterprise Next Tech Girls and active public speaker on the topic. Sam recently delivered a talk at the University of Winchester’s #EmpowerHER event and has plans to appear on a panel for Women in Technology Hampshire this summer.
Sam has vast experience across varying sectors including; financial services, healthcare, energy, retail, property, construction and automotive, gaining extensive knowledge and experience of data management best practices and how best to implement and adapt frameworks to suit different businesses and teams.
