Now in its sixth year, the TechWomen100 awards are run by WeAreTechWomen and focus solely on females working in tech below the director level. The awards also recognise senior individuals championing women as well as organisations working to recruit and retain female tech talent. The awards also recognise voluntary organisations and networks operating across the UK.
The categories are as follows:
Individual Criteria
A female individual who works within the tech industry, whose current position is below director level.
Champion Criteria
A senior individual of any gender, within the technology industry, who is championing women.
Global Award for Achievement Criteria
A female individual who works within the tech industry outside of the UK, whose current position is below director level.
Network Criteria
A network, either internal or external that supports the careers of women working in tech through access to resources and learning-based events.
Company Criteria
An organisation that has successfully designed and implemented initiatives and programs to develop its female talent pipeline.
Dates for your diary
Nominations close on 12 August.
A shortlist of 200 women will be chosen by a judging panel in early October. The shortlist will then be released for a public vote.
Winners will be chosen by an independent judging panel and announced on 10 October.
Winners will be invited to celebrate at a ceremony on 06 December.
