At SheCanCode, we have a close-knit community of women in tech who share their advice our platform. Through our podcast series, we talk to a range of people who work in the tech sector and we’re always on the lookout for more speakers to share their expertise.
Below, we explain more about the podcast series and how to submit a topic idea.
Who are our podcasts aimed at?
SheCanCode’s community ranges from females who are experienced candidates searching for their next role to women considering a move into a tech career for the first time. Our audience predominately consists of women working in their first or second tech roles.
what can you talk about?
We are looking for speakers to join us for discussions centred around working in technology and the importance of diversity in tech, but we would also like to hear your ideas about topics that we may never have heard of before.
Our audience ranges from technical women to non-coders and more, so the discussion can be as techie, niche, or high-level as you wish.
how does our submission process work?
The podcast ideas we receive are reviewed on a monthly basis, and you’ll hear from a member of our team if we’d like you to move forward. If your idea has been selected, we will be in touch about the next steps and a timeline for production.
what does shecancode offer?
If we choose your idea we will work with you to pre-record the podcast episode, which we will then promote to our community. You will take part in a pre-recording with one of our editors, who will work with you to create some questions for discussion.
