Empowered and mentored by Antonio T. Smith Jr.—a visionary tech expert, mindset authority, and advocate for women’s empowerment—I found inspiration in his leadership and shared commitment to transformation and equity.

Key roles in my field include leadership development, operations management, and advocacy for equity. My day starts with grounding practices like meditation or journaling, followed by strategic planning, mentoring sessions, and a quick workout. I balance operational tasks with creative initiatives and try to ensure there’s time for reflection and innovation.

Are there any specific skills or traits that you notice companies look for when you’re searching for roles in your field?

Companies value strategic thinking, adaptability, and emotional intelligence. Leadership roles often require the ability to inspire and collaborate while staying committed to inclusivity and innovation.

Have you ever faced insecurities and anxieties during your career, and how did you overcome them?

Absolutely. Imposter syndrome and self-doubt have surfaced at various points in my career. I overcame these challenges by focusing on my mission, seeking mentorship, and trusting my intuition. Building a strong support network has been invaluable.

Be bold and trust your instincts. Seek mentors who inspire you, embrace continuous learning, and surround yourself with supportive networks. Don’t be afraid to step into leadership roles or take up space in male-dominated fields—you belong there. Every setback is a stepping stone, not a barrier.
