With a 25-year background in technology and consulting, Rav is a highly recognised leader within the industry for her work in the space of “Women in Technology” addressing the underrepresentation of women at all levels across industries.
As a woman in tech, Rav has often found herself in the minority. The absence of women around her highlighted a significant concern: society was missing out on the diverse perspectives women bring to designing and building products, leading teams, and making decisions.
Rav decided to play her part in addressing the gender gap and has dedicated the past decade to driving impactful change for diversity in tech. Through her consultancy, Structur3dpeople, Rav mentors senior leaders and advises businesses on building winning strategies that attract and retain talent, turning their organisations into engines of growth and transformation.
Rav is also founder of Cajigo, a multi-award winning social enterprise and app, that has upskilled thousands of girls and women to confidently work in a wide range of technology careers. Cajigo has provided free tech education and mentoring to remove barriers for career changers, returners, jobseekers and women at any stage in life, supporting women across 26 countries, with their entry into tech workforce and progression to senior levels. Rav has also spearheaded an initiative in UK schools to engage 20,000 girls in technology.
Rav is involved in a number of initiatives promoting and shaping the tech and digital agenda in the UK and she often speaks at events on topics that provide solutions to build the confidence and careers of women in tech.
Showcased as one of the Most Influential Women in UK Tech since 2017, Rav was inducted into the Computer Weekly Hall of Fame in 2022 and awarded the Tech Woman of the Year at the European Diversity Awards in 2023.
Rav is also a board director at Women of the Year Lunch and Awards, and an advisory board member at Tech Southwest.
