Power Hacks
Providing a platform to enable our diverse community to improve their coding skills, learn something new and to meet new people.
Join us for a day of ideation, creation & coding
SheCanCode’s Power Hack events provide a platform to enable our community to improve their coding skills, learn something new and to meet new people.
Our free-to-attend, one-day hackathons give you the opportunity to work in teams to create and build an app or website, as a response to a chosen challenge based on a chosen theme.
The Power Hacks run across one day, with breakfast and lunch provided. Throughout the day, our tech mentors are on hand to provide support and guidance.
We welcome all levels of coders to our Power Hacks. There are lots of attendees with different levels of experience, so the events are great opportunities to learn from each other, get advice and make new friends.

SheCanCode is teaming up with Capco to create something truly amazing! This June, we’re on a mission to build solutions for women’s financial wellbeing.
We’ve joined forces with Capco, Vultr our community partners, Founders & Coders & Pennies To Pounds to invite you to a FREE* hackathon happening in London! This is your chance to be part of something meaningful and make a real impact. Are you ready to take on the challenge?
At the hackathon, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to build an app, website, or hosted solution that will directly help tackle financial inequality and empower women’s financial wellbeing.
Interested in sponsoring a Power Hack event?
We’ve had the opportunity to work with some incredible companies that are supporting diversity and inclusion in tech. By sponsoring our Power Hacks, your organisation will have the chance to be part of an exciting tech-for-good event, meet incredible female coders, and showcase your commitment to equality and inclusion in tech.
If you’re interested in sponsoring or hosting a future Power Hack, please contact us below and one of the SheCanCode team will be in touch!
