I first discovered web development as a child, but didn’t see it as a possible career until much later. After years working in the arts and media—creating meaningful audience experiences – I retrained and made the leap into software engineering.
Since then, I’ve grown into a full-stack engineer, leading complex, cross-functional projects involving systems integration, architectural investigations, and clear documentation to support alignment across multiple services in the Compare the Market estate. I’m passionate about encouraging others to grow, sharing knowledge, and building collaborative, inclusive cultures. My unconventional path has been one of resilience, curiosity, and continuous learning – and I’m proud to be part of a growing wave of career changers in tech.
