June 23 marks International Women in Engineering Day 2022 (#INWED22). Brought to by the Women’s Engineering Society (WES), the day aims to highlight the amazing work of female engineers around the world and to showcase their stories.

This year’s theme of ‘Inventors and Innovators’ will be showcasing women engineers who support lives and livelihoods every day.

“We’re profiling the best, brightest and bravest women in engineering, the inventors and innovators who dare to be part of the solution and are helping to build towards a brighter future,” states this year’s INWED website.

Whether you’re celebrating the day as an individual, organisation or educational institution, there are plenty of ways to show your support. INWED22 has a website full of useful resources and ideas – we’ve pulled a few together to help you celebrate.
