International Women’s Day Power Hack: Give to Gain

March 9, 2026
, 8:30 am
- 6:00 pm

SheCanCode and Foundry have partnered for a hackathon centred on this year's International Women's Day theme: Give to Gain.

You’re invited to join us for a day of ideation, coding and the creation of solutions that will make a make a real impact in women’s lives.

Give to Gain is about the power of generosity, collaboration, and reciprocity. When we share knowledge, time, and access, everyone benefits. This Power Hack challenges you to turn that mindset into technology that genuinely lifts others.

Aim of the day

Coinciding with International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrations throughout March, SheCanCode is bringing you a free hackathon in London, providing you with the opportunity to build a tech solution for good that enables people, communities, or organisations to support one another.

While SheCanCode is committed to keeping our events as accessible as possible, we kindly ask for a small donation to secure your space.

All donations will be given to a charity partner aligned with the aims of the hackathon, supporting work that helps improve outcomes for women. Our charity partner will be announced soon.

At the end of the day, attendees will present to a judging panel who will select a winning project.

Please bring your laptop, chargers and any other equipment you like working with on the day.
