My journey in the tech world spans over 8+ years at Spectrum IT Recruitment, during which I’ve had the privilege of connecting with incredible professionals across the sector at all levels.

Over the years’, it’s been frustratingly evident that gender equality and diversity in the tech industry was lacking, being a male dominated sector with an underrepresented female voice. This is why my colleague Lauren James and I set up Women In Tech Hampshire – WiTH, funded by our employer Spectrum IT Recruitment. We host bi-monthly face to face meetups where women (and men!) can share trials, tribulations, successes, knowledge.. and a cuppa!

As an Ambassador and Co-founder of WiTH I’m on a mission to drive change in the tech industry and foster gender diversity. WiTH was born out of the need to empower women in tech, and it’s a cause I’m extremely passionate about.

Doing this alongside my Recruitment “day job” has enabled me to provide guidance to both candidates and employers, whether that be about routes into a role in tech, gender diverse benefits, allyship or other factors.
