From an early age, I had a passion for math and science.

However, I left school early to pursue a career as a hairdresser, where I thrived on the challenges and creativity the profession demanded. Yet, I often found myself wondering, “What if I had stayed in school? What could I have achieved?” This curiosity led me to take a bold step: I enrolled in the Open University to study for a degree in Maths and Physics. During my studies, I realized I wanted a career where I could leverage my analytical and problem-solving skills, exploring how things work and how they can be improved. Throughout my years as a hairdresser, along with my voluntary work and my role at Triumph, I developed numerous transferable skills. These include creative thinking, problem-solving, close interaction with people, managing multiple clients, precision, communication, adaptability, and technical aptitude.

Now, ten months into my graduate scheme, I am working within the Data and Automation team. Here, I develop robotic automation processes that significantly benefit the business financially and enhance efficiency.
