Power Hacks
Providing a platform to enable our diverse community to improve their coding skills, learn something new and to meet new people.
Join us for a day of ideation, creation & coding
SheCanCode’s Power Hack events provide a platform to enable our community to improve their coding skills, learn something new and to meet new people.
Our free-to-attend, one-day hackathons give you the opportunity to work in teams to create and build an app or website, as a response to a chosen challenge based on a chosen theme.
The Power Hacks run across one day, with breakfast and lunch provided. Throughout the day, our tech mentors are on hand to provide support and guidance.
We welcome all levels of coders to our Power Hacks. There are lots of attendees with different levels of experience, so the events are great opportunities to learn from each other, get advice and make new friends.

International Women's Day Power Hack: Give to Gain
SheCanCode and Foundry have partnered for a hackathon centred on this year’s International Women’s Day theme: Give to Gain – in support of Young Women’s Trust.
Give to Gain is about the power of generosity, collaboration, and reciprocity. When we share knowledge, time, and access, everyone benefits. This Power Hack challenges you to turn that mindset into technology that genuinely lifts others.
Coinciding with International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrations throughout March, SheCanCode is bringing you a free hackathon in London, providing you with the opportunity to build a tech solution for good that enables people, communities, or organisations to support one another.
Interested in sponsoring a Power Hack event?
We’ve had the opportunity to work with some incredible companies that are supporting diversity and inclusion in tech. By sponsoring our Power Hacks, your organisation will have the chance to be part of an exciting tech-for-good event, meet incredible female coders, and showcase your commitment to equality and inclusion in tech.
If you’re interested in sponsoring or hosting a future Power Hack, please contact us below and one of the SheCanCode team will be in touch!
