Your expertise in software development and leadership will play a critical role in solving complex problems and driving technological advancements in national defense. You like to do this: * Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance goals. * Design and code new software or modify existing software to add innovative features. * Debug software to resolve defects and improve performance. * Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments. * Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance standards. * Collaborate with system engineers and stakeholders to derive requirements and implement solutions. * Lead and oversee software development teams, ensuring quality and performance alignment. * Develop system installation or build procedures, scripts, and documentation. * Drive process improvements in documentation and software development standards. * Design, develop, and optimize database interfaces and complex algorithms. You are required to have this: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, plus 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer, or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree. * Strong experience in designing and implementing complex software systems. * Proven track record in leading software development teams and meeting project requirements. * Experience with software development processes, documentation, and quality control. * Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments. * Strong problem-solving, technical aptitude, and leadership skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * An active TS/SCI with polygraph Salary Range: $140,000 – $200,000 The BlueHalo, an AV Company, pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
