On Wednesday (11th September), SheCanCode’s hosted its much-anticipated Power Up Awards ceremony, and what an unforgettable evening it was!

With a room full of inspiring individuals, passionate about creating a more diverse and inclusive tech industry, SheCanCode came together to celebrate the incredible achievements of women in tech. From rising stars to established leaders, each winner showcased their dedication, innovation, and commitment to making an impact in technology.

The atmosphere was electric as we celebrated the winners in categories that highlight excellence in areas such as innovation, leadership, mentorship, and advocacy for diversity in tech.

Throughout the night, attendees enjoyed an evening of networking, delicious food, and drinks, and even got to pose in front of our Tesla, lighting the way to the event while also fostering discussions on how to support neurodiverse colleagues.

A huge thank you to all of our incredible sponsors, including our headline sponsor, Shell; our category sponsors, Vultr, Tesla, Tech Redefined and Natilik, who hosted the event at their amazing venue; and Virgin Wines, our Bubble Sponsor, who made sure we celebrated in style. A special shoutout to our fantastic partners, Prestel Publishing, Dr PawPaw and Nourished for supporting us and giving our guests a brilliant goody bag. Thank you to all our winners and everyone who contributed to making this night so special.

The Power Up Awards are a reminder of the strides we are making in tech, but also of the work still to be done. Seeing so many advocates for change gathered in one room was a testament to the strength of this community and the shared commitment to powering up the future of women in tech.
