Launch of New Mentoring App For Women In Tech

International Women's Day is a celebration of all the efforts that are being made to change the lives of women globally. It’s also a call to action, a day to remind everyone to continue the push for gender parity and #PressForProgress.

Structur3dpeople are excited to officially launch our new mentoring platform that will change the lives of many women.

We believe that all women everywhere should have access to a mentor, to gain knowledge and skills for personal and career development.

This launch event will bring together mentors, mentees, senior executives as well as women who are looking for guidance and support in their careers.

We want to encourage an open an honest conversation on the challenges that women face. This is a great opportunity to pick the brains of mentors and talk to women who have overcome their obstacles and are now in successful careers.

We are excited to have hosts Amazon and VMWare sponsor the evening. The format will be;

18.15 - Arrival and refreshments
19.00 - Welcome from Simone Grounsell, Client Director and Lead for Women at AWS and David Parry-Jones, VP and GM at VMWare
19.10 - Positive Actions for Women – Rav Bumbra, Founder Structur3dpeople

Who is this event for?

Women who are interested in a tech career and in need of some direction.
Women on a career break who are looking to build up skills and confidence to get back into work.
Women who are looking to move into a leadership or senior executive position.
Women looking for someone to help with guidance and support to help reach their goals.
Senior Execs / HR Directors interested in increasing diversity within their companies

Outcome from the event

We want to help women everywhere to develop their skills and become confident enough to not hold themselves back from anything they want to achieve. We hope our mentoring programmes provide the stepping stones that women need right now, where new connections are made and new doors will open.

At the same time, we are providing companies with access to a much wider talent pool so diversity is no longer a challenge and will ultimately bring them business success.
