LONDON: Unconventional Paths into Technology

  • CodeNode 10 South Place London, England, EC2M 7EB United Kingdom (map)

About Us - HSBC Digital would like to invite you to an evening to discover unconventional paths into technology. We, together with our co-sponsors, SkillsMatter, are committed to bringing greater diversity into the technology sector. The evening will showcase inspirational speakers and the paths they took into their careers into digital. Through a panel of experienced professionals from HSBC, SkillsMatter, FDM, WORK180 we want to bust many myths about what it is like to work in technology and signpost ways to get there. As part of our focus on diversity in tech we will also be celebrating becoming signatories on the Tech Talent Charter and the launch of an internal gender diversity community, Digital Balance.

About You - Perhaps you are thinking about changing your career into technology but feel that your skill sets are mismatched? Perhaps you work in a digital role but think you need coding skills to progress to the next level? We are interested in people from all different sectors, backgrounds, and education.

About the Event - It is being held 6pm to 9pm, with a networking opportunity afterwards on Tuesday 16th October at Code Node (nearest tube Liverpool street/Moorgate). We have limited seating so please reserve through the eventbrite registration.
