Navigating the recruitment maze: how to find a job you'll love

  • Herbal House 10 Back Hill London, England, EC1R 5EN United Kingdom (map)

Hands up if you enjoy job hunting...

We asked this question at a recent event, and there was only one person who said they enjoyed the process of looking for work (and it came with quite a few caveats).

Whether you have broad-ranging skills that don't fit neatly into a box, or you're moving into digital as a second career, returning after a break, or just finding it difficult to find a job you'll love, this event is for you!

We'll be joined by an amazing panel who will be sharing their tips on how to navigate the recruitment maze, stand out and find a job you love (hopefully!).

Our panelists are:
- Jacqui Barratt, Founder & CEO of a recruitment company, salt
In 2003 Jacqui alongside her brother founded salt. Today, salt is globally, the largest specialist digital recruitment company with over 200 staff and offices in New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, America, UK, and Dubai. Jacqui says, "With 25 years and counting, it’s fair to say that recruitment runs through my body
and soul."

- Sinead Bunting who specialises in digital performance marketing and creative brand transformation. Most recently she was the VP of Marketing for Monster in Europe, the global jobs website.
Sinead is the creator and co-founder of the Tech Talent Charter, (TTC) an industry-wide collective, whose aim is to deliver a more diverse tech workforce. The charter is supported by the UK government and over 300 signatories such as Cisco, Vodafone, HP, BBC, EY, Cancer Research and Global Radio.
Passionate about encouraging diversity and success in business, she also created the ‘Monster Confidence’ programme, working with social enterprise Stemettes for the last three years, helping students gain greater confidence to achieve their huge potential in a STEM career.

- Recruitment coach Ellie Rich-Poole
With over twenty years’ experience both in-house in HR, Resourcing and Talent Management and within Executive Search as a head-hunter, Ellie set up her own business in 2016 to support both organisations and individuals as The Recruitment Coach.
She is a Barefoot trained Coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation. And during a sabbatical in Chile, she took some time out to train with Digital Mums in Social Media Management so she also helps individuals with their social media, as well as leadership teams who want to improve how they use LinkedIn in relation to their employer brand.
