How to Recruit Women for the 21st Century: Getting Women Through the Door

  • Committee Room 19, House of Commons London UK (map)

Join us at our first meeting, Getting Women Through the Door, on Tuesday 27 February 2018.

The meeting will look at ways in which employers can attract more female applicants for jobs. The session will first look at pre-recruitment, covering processes such as job design, wording, and ad placement. We will then move on to look at the potential impact of measures such as name blinding and unconscious bias training on hiring, including examining the role of recruitment agencies.

We are pleased to confirm that the following speakers will be sitting on the panel:

  • Jess Phillips MP, Co-Chair, Women and Work APPG
  • Tom Hadley, Director of Policy, Recruitment and Employment Confederation
  • Emma Stewart, Co-Founder and Joint CEO, Timewise
  • Dr Tiina Likki, Principal Adviser, Behavioural Insights Team
