This event is organised in the framework of London Tech Week 2018. The event is for technologists, innovators and others interested in the built environment to demonstrate the ways in which new technologies could be harnessed to improve city-making and overcome urban challenges.
This interactive workshop will look at the ways in which technology and data are reshaping the process of city making, and what is becoming increasingly possible to transform the work of planners, architects and others, enabling them to overcome urban challenges. The workshop will combine presentations, discussion and activities to collaboratively consider specific, pragmatic solutions to these urban challenges and improve cities. The session will include lunch for delegates.
This workshop is a precursor to Future Cities Catapult's PlanTech Week 2018, a showcase for the emerging technologies, innovations and visions that are transforming the way we plan our cities. Plan Tech Week is taking place 18-22 June in the Urban Innovation Centre.
