Are you managing when you should be leading or leading when you should be managing? Management and leadership work together, but they require completely different skills sets. Great leaders know when and how to apply each to get the best out their people. During this interactive workshop, Lori West, founder and managing director of leadership development company, The Brilliance Trailblazer Ltd, will demystify, clarify and enliven the concepts by making them relevant to your experience. You will leave the workshop empowered to appropriately apply management and leadership skills in your own working life.

Speaker Biography

Lori West, founder and managing director of The Brillianceā„¢ Trailblazer, has generated leadership brilliance in clients, colleagues and employees for over 20 years in business and therapeutic contexts. She brings a no-nonsense, focused, passionate and compassionate attitude to her coaching style that facilitates the emergence of genuine confidence, power, brilliance and leadership in her clients.

Lori draws on a number of professional disciplines, including a variety of coaching modalities and psychotherapeutic disciplines, marketing for some of the most well-known brands in the high-tech sector as well as her personal exploration and experience of leadership principles, both in theory and in practice. Her extensive study and experience of depth psychology, neuropsychology, success mindsets and business enables her to support clients to identify and utilise their unique brand of brilliance to greatest effect for the organisations they serve.

In addition to her professional qualifications, Lori brings shamanic wisdom, clarity and power to her coaching, which she has been cultivating since childhood. Drawing on her Native American and Celtic heritage and affinity with Mayan and Toltec mystery schools, Lori leads clients into the unknown to experience first, learn second. This draws out unconscious self-imposed limitations by bypassing the conscious mind, enabling rapid, profound and lasting transformation.
